Nah... I built this for myself .. and left the body like I got it ,, I got it on here,, Had one Way Back in time ,, always wanted another ,,, it took years to get one at the Price I got the Body and Neck Plate,..

Would love the backstory on this. Beautiful body. Upgrades: ?

"well I have installed , and a set of S/D HotStacks Pickups, sense this picture, and sound really great in this Bass, and got a set of Ultra Lite reverse tuners for the Neck, this balanced the Jazz out as it was a little neck heavy,, and got the Sound I was After,. The Controls are out of a Modulus* Jazz, the Neck is a, USA. B Hefner* Fender License' Jazz Bass replacement neck. Flame Maple, Ebony Board, Lacquer Finish. Hand shaped bone nut, "As for the Body, I got it on here, I have not much info on it, "I just grabbed it up as quick as I could, with the Neck plate, it was just like it is, I was going to paint but, I just put it together, I may paint it but as of now, people seam to like it, the way it is, I more than likely will paint this summer, I will ask the seller if he has any info on it ,all he said is he got the body like it is previous owner did the strip job, 'in sellers add,

Nice choices and work you've done there. I was wondering what the nut width is on the CS neck ???

Hi Eddie,
I haven't measured it lately but as I remember it is 1.62" which should be somewhere between a standard p and a standard Jazz nut width. I have usually prefered 1.5" jazz necks.

That's what my calibrated eyeball was seeing. In the last year I started playing thin Jazz style necks and now I'm ruined.

lol Same thing happened to me, I always played 1.7"+ p basses in the 70's/80's until I got a jazz bass and now it's hard to play regular p basses.

I play in a ZZTop Tribute Band so it's going to be switching back and forth which isn't a big deal.
My first experience with a slim neck was the Schecter dUg Pinnick signature Bass I got a year ago. Then 6 months ago I got the Michael Anthony sig. Now I've acquired 5 total Schecters w/ slim necks. I Love them.

was looking for an uncommon buy on an instrument..just purchased a Keith Brawley bass guitar from one and only owner on craigslist..the model is called "Artemis"..seller (64 years of age) was asking $175 but accepted my offer of $140..wikipedia says that Brawley bass guitars sold from $550 to $1200..owner said he paid $700 for this one new although he said there was an $800 price tag on it..its a neck thru bass..4 string 35 inch scale..has a battery compartment..5 control knobs..volume..pickup blend..bass..mid..treble..soap bar custom humbucker pickups..active only..these instruments were only made from 2001 - 2003..with a limited production..the body is Louisiana swamp ash with a Canadian maple neck and Indian rosewood fretboard....Japanese frets made from German alloy..24 frets..designed in the USA and built in Korea..tobacco sunburst finish with a flame maple top..beautiful wood grain..came with a gig bag that was in rough shape..but the instrument is in absolutely mint condition..no scratches..no marks..no dings..high gloss finish..straight true neck with low action..absolutely no fret wear..looks barely played and handled..owner has had the bass since new..still had the inspection tag on the back cover plate for the electronics..so nice to get this rare premium condition instrument..was just wondering what others think about a Keith Brawley bass..?..many have never even heard of these..

Never heard of them, but Mr. Brawley apparently works for Taylor Guitars now, so I am guessing he's no slouch. It would be great to see a picture.

Still in the "None- none more than black" train, I called AJ @ EB and asked
if a black oem Piezo bridge might be available (smh). No. No, it's not.
So "acting out", I ordered a Tort guard then curled up into the fetal.

Sssh- they just might discontinue the stealth series if it's not in high demand. It's their business model.

Hah. I think they probably sell more of Stealth rays than most other options combined.

My number one is a 2015 Fender American Standard Precision Bass.
And my ESP LTD D4 that I am not sure of the year on has been a worthy backup. My P-bass has since been updated with a black pickguard... I will include a pic of the updated look as well.

Ok, #15 and I'm about ready to acknowledge I may have a problem...but not quite yet! This is the first, unbox, take the foam wrap off, peel the plastic pickup protectors off, NEW bass I've purchased since the very first bass I bought from the Sears catalog back in 1986. Introducing my Ibanez AGBV205A Vintage Artcore semi hollow-body bass. I got a heckuva deal on it because it had a small scratch on it.

Having fun with it right now. B is pretty good and sounds really nice on the bridge pickup with a little chorus.
