Here's my basses!

1 - 99 Mex Jazz bass standard, modded with a bartolini mm pickup in the bridge. Used to have an OBP, but now passive.

2 - CIJ Mustang bass with competition stripes. This was an engagement gift to me from my wife. Great little bass.

3 - Harley Benton JB40FL. Wannabe Jaco bass, has the mwah so I like it.

4 - Yamaha BB735a. Newest bass in the collection, love it!

5 - Pitbull guitars 5 string. It lives at school (I'm a teacher), passive 5er J bass. Does the job well.

6 - Squier VM P-J bass. Also lives at work. Gives me P and J tones when I need it, also does the job nicely.

I want one of those too but I once owned a black on black car.....U know the saying, the happiest 2 days of my life were the day I got it and the day I sold It! Always obsessing over dust and paint swirles.

True, you are correct about the Aerodyne being a fingerprint magnet BUT that's what polish cloths are for  .... I'll trade tone for fingerprint marks any day of the week ;)

yes….its a Fender Custom Shop 1966 Journeyman
Very nice!! That combo; shell pink/rosewood will likely be what I go with on my next custom. Gonna go with Nino again. Will be something along these lines.

Alder body / maple neck / rosewood fretboard
Shell Pink finish
35" scale
Chrome Hipshot B bridge (19mm spacing at bridge) and tuners
Nordstrand NJ5 pickups and 3b preamp

Not sure what I want the p/g to be. That tort looks very nice!

that sounds awesome!…..a guitarist friend of mine suggested a Custom Shop….I hadn't had a Fender in over 30 years…initially bought for the "cool" factor, but it plays really good, great neck.
