well... I do have a lot of pictures from the building process, since the documentation was part of the task in that competition. My only problem is, that I think my english being not good enough to post such a documentation here. I don't know the words for all the tools and it would become rather stressful for all the readers to follow my gibberish.

I love it!! Put some Michael Anthony pickups in it and it roars! The cheapest bass I have but plays just as good as any of them! I actually have another one too but need to cut down so I listed it. GAS is a horrible thing!

Fretted jazz is a squier vm body with epiphone explorer bass bridge and a neck off of a Chinese bass and gold hardware
Fretless jazz is a cheap Chinese body with defretted Charvel cx490 neck and black hardware

im wondering if my bass is rare at all. can someone help? im an acoustic player but this was handed down by my grandpa

New bass day! I go back to Iowa frequently to see Mom and do stuff for her around the house. I thought it would be nice to have a bass around, so I went to GC and picked up a Bronco and a Fender Rumble 25, and the ancillary gear that goes along with it.

I asked Mom for a corner to store it. She said the bass was so pretty I could leave it in the living room as art. Lol! I played the Billie Jean groove I painstakingly learned. She was impressed. I can also do a passable intro to Smoke on the Water.

The tinkerer in me won’t be satisifed, so when I come back next month, I’ll have new strings and a better bridge. I’ll bring my setup tools too.

That’s right. Mom still has shag carpet in the breezeway!

I wouldn't think it's rare. Google Cort P Bass, lots of pictures of a lot of Cort P Basses.
Many people love those old Cort's.

When my Mom was about 80, my sisters made her stop going up on the roof to check for leaks. The next door neighbor told on her one day for going back up and after that, she finally stopped. LOL.

Yea. Mom has done that too. I told her no more. I was up there the other day, sweeping leafs off. Those folks from that generation are hardwired to work.
