That Trace has become my practice amp due to age and weight lol! However it is a killer combination! I am now playing through a Quilter Bass Block 800 and those Avatar cabinets and can’t wait to hear with this baby sounds like through those!

You got the 800 part correct. I STILL love My '79 Sabre, through My GK 800RB, with 1x15 and 2x10 Hartke cabs. Had em about 20 years. Never failed Me ONCE!!! Studio, or live.

If they're 8ohms ea. Quilter says that's 800RMS. Definitely would like to hear the SR thru that.

The Minister for Finance is overseas at the moment so I thought I’d give her a bit of a fright by photoshopping my basses hanging on the living room wall, and *slightly* exaggerating the number of basses. It’s missing the Washburn AB20, but it was enough to start a bit of a storm on Facebook. It seems many people couldn’t tell I’d duplicated my wall mount in the music room ;-)

Absolutely! It was a 10-minute job with Photoshop’s smart masking tools, but getting a reflection of the neck of the NS2 in the mirror would’ve been a bit too time consuming... it was supposed to look a bit fake.

They do say you can run it down to 2 if you don't mind the clip light "winking".

I thought I'd chip in on this awesome thread. Here's a couple of pictures of my latest bass! A Fretless violin design 6 string. This one has a 5 way rotary switch and passive electronics. Sounds like a beast and plays like a c
Also I have a bass on the way. A 5 string fretless with buckeye burl top. Going to be incredible.
