Judging by the inlay that was an upmarket ovation. Are you converting it to a bass? Headless conversion? Or do you just not get the whole "show your basses" part if this thread?

I think he was speaking in jest. Your response above seems to indicate you didn't feel that way. Don't worry about it, there is no guitar without bass (strings).
If someone were to post pure guitar and no bass, that might be a bit of a derailment, but c'mon, your profile name has BASS in it!

All is good. even with emojis, there can be a lot misunderstood and/or lost in translation with printed text. There was a thread a couple weeks back where someone said they didn't like how rude and snarky people were getting on TB, to which I wondered:
1) are there *more* polite forums than TB? I've not encountered them.
2) did something get lost in translation somewhere and whatever happened was born from a misunderstanding...?

Hah! I don't think you need worry about that! Many of those Japanese short-scale basses were all made at the same factory anyway and the same basses were badged with a few different names/brands. But judging that you have a couple, you probably already know that!
