I tried DR Hi-Beams 5 years ago on the advice of dUg Pinnick. I was blown away by how long they keep their fresh/bright tone. About 3 years ago I got some Black Beauties and Neons and have been very impressed with their tone and longevity. I now have 4 Basses with Black Beauties on them and the 1st set is still going strong.

I'm impressed. My eyes kept looking at those lime green strings in the store. Might have to try them on my Affinity pj someday.

I really love that Chapman bass...can you say some words about it? It's gorgeous!!! I really need one badly lol.

This is my Hilton workhorse. It was made by Pete when he was still working in Brooklyn with those other crazy guys I love. This bass is a 34” scale bass, Aguilar pickups and preamp and weights under 8lbs. It balances perfectly and the neck feels tiny and allows for fast movement with no effort. Towards the heel you do not seem to notice any transition when you hit the highest notes. I’ve owned many high end bass guitars and this one just makes me want to play more than any other bass. It’s got that magic people always talk about but can never explain. This is Pete’s entry level instrument and honestly my favorite. I’ve had to sell so many of my bass guitars recently but I’m very happy I’ll be keeping this one.

A sterling stingray classic 24.

There will be much rejoicing. And some shaking of heads by my neigbours. As I will want to know how it sounds at full punch.

Eat my ray bitches! Your leafblower against my beasty bass.

I'm a tad excited.
