  1. I can never leave Dave's in LaX, Wi empty handed. I tell myself "it's another state away, don't waste the drive.". Yup, I say that to myself. geddy2.

  6. Man, it's super nice. I've got some nice Jazz Basses with my AVRI 64 and purple sparkle Clayton as top 2 and this makes it a top 3 situation (or quandary). It set up super low and smooth and I actually like the oil finish on the back of the neck. It's silky, and I'm usually a gloss guy. Case is nice too. Sounds like it should, like an angry duck, right amount of Jazz quack and some snarl. I give it an 11 out of 10.

Now All I can think of is Donald Duck with a super deep voice.. o_O

  8. Ha ha...no not like that. To me P basses go "boom" and J basses go "quack", just my ears and description. They might make different noise to you. But not Donald Duck on this one. More like John Lydon going quack.

    Is it an AVRI?
If it sounds like John Lydon I'd contact Carey Nordstrand...

  10. Oh no, I'm good  I just mean it has a little snarl/snotty to it. Makes a Geddy noise, all good.

I've always liked the tone of the Fender Jazz. Grew up hearing it
on the majority of commercial studio recordings for decades not
withstanding James Jamerson contributions. You can always tell
if a hit was recorded with a Jazz. That little bit of scoop and 1K
gave it just enough attack to sit well in a mix and give that
"oh yeah" feel. For me, the Precision works best in a live situation.
Preference toward Rosewood or Maple tone. Used to have a '77 Jazz
Pearloid I foolishly sold off in college. It's currently on the radar.
That with the Tort/ black combo is just delicious. Token Tort meme.
    TORT!. FENDER TEXT.

Edit. Happy Birthday John. Miss you.

They do , it's very unusual , like tiny bubbly chirpy sentences , hard to describe but super fun to talk to . They have many unusual features other cats don't have . Mostly goofball .
