Thanks! yes but as commonly mistaken for the Ford FE 390, it was actually an AMC motor. Started as a 290, went to 343 and finally 390...AMC never used Ford engines...

Oh, ok. I was misinformed in my teens then. Someone in my neighborhood had one and was told it had a Ford 390 in it from the factory. It was loud and fast.

Got both of my Roccos! Going to get em setup and do a comparison video. The conklin is in great shape, especially for its age. It definitely feels more special (I mean there are supposedly only 30 of them), but the ESP is no slouch by any means.

Also snagged this Epi Masterbuilt. Wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do. It's strung up with some flats and it sounds really really good unplugged.

I've been really curious about these! Let me know how it is. Looks beautiful.

It's amazing! The tone is a little lighter than what I'm used to with my other Schecter's, but my tech said to change to round wound strings, would give it a little more 'metal' sound. Right now I'm just playing random stuff, and nothing heavy. The size is great! I wish I would have started with shorties.
