The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Here is my brand new Reimer Jett bass, made by Reimer Guitars in Vancouver, BC!
Amazing jazz style bass and under 8 lbs!

Light swamp ash, not chambered, maple/rosewood neck. Dave Reimer has a real nack for finding nice wood for his builds, of which I currently own two. He built a beautiful bass for Hutch Hutchinson a couple yrs ago that was amazing as well.

That's great - I also make custom basses that are light, ergo and kick-ass so I appreciate other makers following that format. Happy for you! :bassist:

Oh cool! I bet yours are really great as well! Dave’s been building for over 25 yrs, he’s a very well known bassist and unreal vocalist in the Vancouver scene. He was one of Brian Adams first bassists in the day too!

View attachment 3738132 I know some people scoff, but I have always loved the style of the Wolf bass by Hardluck Kings.
I ordered one of the latest run, got it all set up added black DR mediums a skull strap and vinyl binding.
I don’t think it looks too shabby!

actually I keep coming back to look at this again and again I like it more every time I see it! Very nice bass!

Looks cool - do you have a straight-on profile pic of front & back?

I am saying there will always be critics/detractors. You can't let them stop you from bein yourself. "You do you"
I try very hard to be positive about things and not be “that guy” who has to rip someone else to prop themselves up.
I agree YOU do YOU.
I thought it was a typo at first and you meant to type “you do too!”

good call, man!

It's unique for sure and looks like it probably balances well. What does it weigh? Does it fit a standard gig-bag/case? As a bass designer/maker myself I try to take that sort of thing into consideration.
It didn’t come with a bag or case. I use a BC Rich bass bag for it.
It balances surprisingly well.
Unsure of the exact weight, but it was quite a bit lighter than I was expecting it to be.

That's cool man! I looked at the full frontals you posted and it has sort of a "The Jetsons" meet metal vibe. I like that  enjoy the new axe!
