I know I can't stand that! Not just gear. I have a roll of aluminum foil in the kitchen that reads "professional grade" on the box. Seriously? A professional would probably buy the cheapest product possible to protect their profit margin. It's insulting!

It’s a 2010. At least I think it is. Serial #I 181011713. I like it but I have to stretch my short finger a little more. I like that logo too.

The other bass player at my church plays mandolin on a bluegrass band
We were talking unusual instruments, and he mentioned his group's bass player had a bass banjo... I said what you said. He said the guys wife wanted it outta the living room, so he'd probably sell cheap. I got it for $100... it has every standuppy sound, not banjoish. I play it at church for acoustic or bluegrassy sets, played it with my schools jazz ensemble at our winter concert in December. It is fun and sounds good...

Not a 2010. That serial number marks an Indonesian 2018 built.
