That's good to hear - having never played one I always wondered if they sound as good as they look.
This one came up for sale but it was in some land with a squiggle thing in front of the money so I didn't chase it.My fave of the group also.

'72 Sunburst P-Bass, '73 Olympic white P-Bass and a '49 Kay upright
Current line up all sub $200 including the upgrades, or downgrades if you consider the rat bass. 4 different pickup configurations, 3 different scales.
Just completed P bass build, short scale, roasted maple neck, satin lake placid blue body, SD 1/4 pounder p/u, gotoh bridge, res-o-lite tuners, comes in at 6.8 lbs.

Hey all! Here's my latest vid! Checking out Bully Thakidd's "Frenchie" custom parts jazz bass from our Live Bass Build Off (he has the Surf n Turf). The whole experience was a blast, and I think both of the basses that we made are really great.
