I really like this one. The tone is great, and it's super lightweight.
man I want one of those EHBs... Get the seafoam green and up the pups.
This one has a John East Uni-Pre 4 in it. I'm trying to get a seafoam so I can put a darkglass tone capsule and one of those Nordstrand P pups they made for dingwalls.
My Bride and I just watched that movie last week!

It is indeed a semi-hollowbody, but the center block is very thin. Not quite as thumpy as an EB2-D, but still very fun to play.

What kind of pick ups are in your Schector Studio-4?
I love that they use the term, MagnificationLove Ashdown amplification!
Did you swap them out or did they come with the bass?
@Rodney Fritz swapped them in. I just got it back last night from getting an obp3 installed as well. I think I'm going to remove the obp3 though as the bass is too hot. I can barely turn the volume up on the pups without it getting too loud, like painfully loud.
My Studio 4 has EMG HZ. I hardly touch the 18V EQ.
I was curious, were your pups originally EMG and why did you swap them?
I just put Seymour Duncan SSB-4 passive pups in my PRS Kingfisher SE and they sound amazing. I've always been an active bass kind of guy, but these sound awesome right out of the box.

Really had no reason to, just wanted to try them out. The EMGhz it came with were just fine. When I first installed these I just had them set up on 9v as VVT. I'm about to install some SD Phase 1 into my EHB today.
