Man that 77 is one of the Spectors I really like! How is the reach on those basses with the short upper horn and the bridge position?

Man that 77 is one of the Spectors I really like! How is the reach on those basses with the short upper horn and the bridge position?

You know, some complain about the reach but I have no problem with it. It could be a combination of my long arms + wearing my basses up high instead of down to my knees.

However, I can understand the complaint, I do notice a difference - just that it doesn't bother me.

I'd do it, but not currently set up to record (using Studio One, but replaced my laptop a few months ago and haven't really had a chance to re-download and set it up).

Still, different pickups (passive Aguilar HCs, active EMG-X, passive DiMarzio P) and preamps, so they all sound pretty different from each other.

I will say the DiMarzio sounds great with the Tonepump. It's a P sound with MASSIVE BALLS.
