Very simple rig: Bergantino B-Amp and two 1x12 Bergantino NXT cabs plus a Fodera Deluxe for my 4 string and Sadowsky 5 string NYC. I feel like this is all I will ever need in terms of gear.

Found a bass neck for sale off of a Fender Modern Classic Jazz that had a broken headstock repaired. The seller said it was toast, so I expected to have my work cut our repairing, but he did a proper job repairing it and it stood up to my strength test. Much more force than the strings would be, so off I went to build up my Frankenstein P bass.

I had an alder body I purchased unfinished for cheap and gave it a custom nitro paint job. I also had the some quality parts to make a wiring loom and also had a American Pro (V Mod) pick up left over in my parts bin.

I always wanted something similar to Entwistle's Frankenstein bass and I think this is it!

Plays great and the neck is fantastic. I primarily use a vintage Ric 4001 to gig with, but this will suit nicely as a primary bass when I don't want to chance the Ric...or be a good back up bass.
