I like the Pearl or White as a contrast to the dark neck.

I'd go for the pearl, as the body finish is way too classy for the others.

Unless you're Chuck Taylor, you don't wear high tops to the policeman's ball.

Tell us about the Precision - I'm interested, when a great bass comes up for sale.

It’s a parts bass. I’m the second owner. The body was built and finished by a well known European builder. It’s Shoreline gold nitro with a small relic. There’s some nice checking in the finish. The neck is an Allparts neck. It’s a great bass, resonates like crazy. It’s a great looking bass.
I’m sticking to a “one in/one out” rule right now, and with the arrival of the Sterling, the P needs to move.

I’ll be buying another one someday.

Tort for me. Why choose? I change my shirt everyday. It’s easy enough to change a J bass pick guard.

The white pearloid, then the black. I don't really care for the tort on the pink, and the white...I mean, why go white when the pearloid is right there?

Also, I think a black control plate would look pretty sharp against the white pearloid...

Max 100, which is actually just a 60watt 110 despite the name. It thumps wonderfully, and the drive is very good.
