The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Never seen an ATK that color & PG! Is it modded? Love it!
Thanks, USATK made by Dave bunker @ PBC Guitars. Has the PBC "Floating Neck". There were only 2-300 each made of the 4s & 5s. They were either red, blue or tobacco burst. The blue ones had the quirk of fading color over time. It was jokingly referred to as the "factory mood ring" finish

if he is looking to take it off and don't know how let's help. as he said he got it that way, he did not put it on and was showing the bass not the stupid sticker.
hey, I grew up in FL so that flag does not scare me……that said I want it off the bass but in fearing too much nitro damage I was considering covering with something like this….

Unfortunate he chose to put stickers on the instrument in the first place.
A beater or lesser bass to enhance a punk band Maybe. Not a big fan of tattoos either.
Would think talking with local techs who may have had customers needing this done.
Luthiers probably don't deal in NC finishes. I know I'd do exhaustive research in some
TB threads ie. Fender pre-CBS Club: pics mandatory! or any number of other TB forums
Long before putting a cover sticker or trying to remove and damage the finish.
Or refinishing- the instrument is vintage and deserves the optimal albeit more expensive solution.
But that's just me. I value history.
Sticker removal on a nitro finish
The Fender Forum is no longer. Maybe Fender support.

Best of luck.

Exquisite. Run down on the six- way selector?
The normal setup that FretNation offers is:
1 - Bridge Solo
2 - Bridge & Middle in Parallel
3 - Bridge & Middle in Series
4 - Bridge & Neck in Parallel
5 - Neck Solo
6 - Bride & Middle in Parallel/Series Neck

Mine is custom set up to swap in Middle Solo in place of Bridge Solo…but they may have had to alter the order of the selections, I need to email and ask if they had to, and if so, what the order is. My favorite selections from the two available 3 way switches that Dingwall offers, in one switch.

No wife, no gig. Just didn't want to spend a week without woodshedding!

I had a short-scale National hollow-body that I would travel with for that reason. Flew with it once and it easily fit in the overhead compartment. I know they make 'travel-basses' now, but playing the real thing is better.

Not mine - but one like it.
