Here are some more shots of the P. I was going to go with the Butterscotch 51 look, but the my friend that I did this project with talked me into seafoam green over Daphne Blue and then if we decided to relic it the blue would come through. It's all 51 specs (except the lefty part). The shots with the black pickguard were before the relic and the pearl after. That was the first of many projects as you can see by the photo and owing allegiance to reranch for the colors. I see your a lefty, you get tired of black, black or black for a color selection, so I started bulding and painting! Peace;

I always wanted to put a GK3 on one of my Basses But the knobs were in the way and for some reason I never thought about placing it like that.
I think you just solved my problem.

Hi guy,

That's the only solution that I have found, to put it under the pickups and keep the begining of the neck clean for use the slapping.
Like that I can keep my all my knobs in the same place.

Yes I have a real thing against black and natural (non-exotic) that's for certain! But I will say that my two favorite basses are one of each.

This year I will be doing a 5 string Jazz build and it will be Daphane Blue.

i've been relegated in recent times to my former-backup bass (which is my de facto primary at the moment).

my guitarist loaned me his Ovation 5-string but i'm one of the needy! but i've got a J-bass on the way, that should keep me from jumping off the ledge of my building.

Damn, that was my first bass @ 15 yrs old! Ibanez Roadstar, exact same. REALLY wish I still had it now, 25 yrs later.
