wait, are lull and sadowsky using the same body for the moderns?
i never noticed that before.

pretty much the same, very subtle difference on the back of the neck joint and the lower horn

looks like the lull is a little wider overall and sad. has a wider neck.

The Traben is gone and has been replaced by this '93 MIM Precision I picked up at the local guitar shop last month...

The Traben played pretty good for what it is, but I kinda bought it on a whim and decided it wasn't really what I was looking for. But overall I thought it was a decent bass.

that is really close. although i'd have to say i prefer the shape of the sadowsky.

thanks for going through all that effort tho.

no problem, I cant feel the difference when Im playing them. The biggest difference for me is the scale length, 34 for the sad and 35 for the lull but my current band playes in flat tuning so I prefer the Lull for that

Not too many guys have had Trabens, how'd you like yours?

I have a discontinued Traben with a less extravagant bridge. It's nothing special but it has alot of features I think for $450, especially for lefties: J/MM, 3-band electronics, cool inlays, 24-fret neck, flame top, 5-piece neck, etc.

yeah, the over-the-top cheese factor was one of the things that really drew me to that guitar. I love it like a red-headed step child.
