I hate all of you with your super cool Lecompte's and your slick lil Epic 5's and that silly lil Steve Bailey sig bass. Wal?! Who'se ever heard of them? And what about the wood holding up the Wal. That wood is too damn cool. WAY cooler than anything i have here. so i am going to go play my old Wick Thumb and think about all of you guy's kick ass basses. hope every one has a good one today.

Sorry for the rant. i had a lil bit too much coffe this morn. HA

My pair of Jazz basses:

The Squier Vint Mod was my first bass (this time around...had a MB4 ages ago, but gave up). I plan on installing a set of Fender noiseless pickups in it, once I get around to installing them.

The no-name brown burst was a project of mine that I just finished. The neck is an Allparts neck with a graphite nut and the body is from a mid 90's MIM, at least according to the guy I got it from. I changed the pickguard out for a black one and also put a BAII bridge on it. Had a friend who is an amazing tech work on it and the bass smokes.

I have a pair of the chrome pickup covers on order right now for the both of them, since they are a great place for me to rest my thumb when I play. No word of when they are going to come in.

welp im new so here we go...

first one proves that not all cheap basses necessarily sound bad

built that one myself out of a $180 AOFA i found on ebay.(please excuse the greasiness of the board, it gets alot of play) worth far more now, i have since added some emgs. theres more pics as well as before/afters and better descriptions in my photo account. this is actually the first time the AOFA has been in front of public eyes, so comments (good/bad/otherwise) are definitely appreciated.
