How's that Blade sound? Looks incredible.
It sounded quite ok, until I installed an Aguilar OBP-1. Then it sounded great! It's nickname is "Funk monster". It's especially good for funk and fusion, with a huge 70's mojo.

@Jordasch: Blade is a Swiss brand, its guitars are made in Japan. They're not (or at least not that I know of) available in the USA. The quality is comparable to Sadowsky Metros.

hope you don't mind the load of pics ;)

My first bass! :D (well actually second. The first one came from the Hartke starter pack so... decent amp, crappy instrument lol)

Anyway it's a Fender Urge model, the old one without the drop-D tuner. It was second-hand but still in great shape, pretty good deal overall and I hope it lasts :)

Next purchase would probably be a 5 string if I feel the need for it, or something that completes this one, but I'm not too experienced with other brands/types yet :(

this was this weeks project for me. it started as a B stock SX SJB-75C and was B stock because it has a white pickguard. So after a while of playing a bass with a white PG and black inlays I got out the spray paint and painted it flat black along with the control plat and bridge cover which I trimed down cause I think they look good but it took up to much room. so it all got painted flat black everything came out great besides the PG. so I scraped and sanded all the paint off and bought some rustoleum paint made for platics and it came out pretty good the finish is a little off but I can live with it. Next its going to get black tuners and some ultra jazz pickups. :bassist:

Now that made me laugh. :D

Is there any kind of online tutorial here on TB, or anywhere? Ill get a 5 string jazz instead of a P, but I want it to be able to get the P sound.

There probably is, and if not, there are a bunch of great diagrams about and the pickup fourm guys are *very* helpful, they'd sort you out quickly!
