These were taken with my dad's Sony Cybershot, I've recently gotten into using his old Canon 35mm. Once i get some of my newer shots developed i'll scan them and post them on here.

I do not claim in any way shape or form to be a photographer, but here are a few that I like

Cool pics ya'll! :)

Since everyone is posting concert photos, here are a couple of Sigur Ros photos from last summer.

Yes they are...do you have a website with all your stuff on it or anything?

EDIT: nevermind...blind ol' me just saw the link in your sig.
Yeah, and aside from his great compositional eye, it also looks like he uses a wide angle lens a lot, and boosts colors quite a bit on the final product to make it extra "vivid". Nice.

I've been meaning to participate in this thread. I jusat needed to upload this pic.

Once upon a time, a young (er) version of me was a Journalism major in Brazil. One day he was assigned to cover some soft news (surprise).

This is (was) Luciano Rolla, the oldest instrument repairman in Brazil. He was 90 at the time. (1993)

Thanks :D

And yes, I'm a wide angle addict! The Canon 10-22mm lens gets much use on my Canon 30D. It's so wide it borders on the absurd!

Now I now how the users of the 16-35mm (and 17-40mm for that matter) feel on a full frame camera. :)

And yes, I also post process the images a bit to capture the feel of the place where the photo was taken. Some images I hardly have to process at all, like the Sigur Ros images for example.

Gotta love photography! :)

I went to the Invalid Link Removed this weekend. They an exposition called butterfly go free.
They do it every year, it's nice exposition with thousands of butterfly.
This is some of the pictures I took, they are not artist shots, but I like them anyway.

Pictures don't seem to show. Just look here if you want to see them

The butterfly shots are absolutely beautiful!

Good job!

These are pictures I made for a schoolproject where I have to express a Baudelaire poem (about the beauty and decay etc etc of the modern city), my idea was to transpose these feelings of beauty, emptyness, decay, industrialisation etc to a modern city; Antwerp.

Problem, it's a lot easier to build a story around a picture than the other way around!

Anyway, let me know what you think. I don't consider myself to be a photographer, I'm really aware of the fact that I'm not good at it at all.

Huge underground parking lot, forbidden territory, we dodged the cameras by entering on the other end, but some guard turned up anyway. We made a runner.

DSCN4285-1.jpg

Construction site in progress, I was sad because I don't have a wide angle lens (or a decent camera for that matter:rolleyes: )

DSCN4307.jpg

another parking lot + overexposure

Scherp3.jpg

left bank, long exposure time, cloudy night and huge oil processing flame behind these buildings. The whole sky was on fire.

goeie4.jpg

Same construction site as above, cool atmosphere, too bad about the crane.

goeie3.jpg

Same night, different buildings, I was standing between the buildings. The building on the street side was gone, so I had acces to the 'inside' of these living complexes. Two days later they had installed a massive gate, so I couldn't enter anymore. Coincidence?

goeie2.jpg

Same site

goeie1.jpg

Same site again

DSCN4413.jpg

Taken at night in an abandoned and decayed station. Spooky atmosphere, the wind was playing with the loose roof, so we were rather scared, plus some dude showed up with a flashlight. We ran again.

DSCN4411.jpg

Again

DSCN4424.jpg

At daytime

DSCN4427.jpg

Again, needs reframing

DSCN4452.jpg

Probably my favorite, very anachronistic setup

DSCN4470.jpg

Looking from the first floor, the water was pooring through the roof.

DSCN4397.jpg

Harbour shot at night, nice colours, composition is so so

DSCN4344.jpg

Looks a bit surrealistic this one, taken from the left bank, but the lights on the other side give it a bit of cliche look.

That's it for now.
