I'll PM for the number, but count me in with a 96 Thumb NT4 and a 88 wenge NT Streamer 4.
I'll try and get a pic or two up tonight.

It's weird to think that it's "vintage". But I guess it is.;)
Anyone know how to date them?? The serial # is 16XX.
I also have to do a little more research into older 'Wicks and their electronics.
Not 100% sure if it's stock. I think the EMG's are, but not sure about the pre. But the the owner before me said it is.
Also, it's rumored to be the bass on the back of some night ranger record.
I'll have to find that.

The last 2 digits denote the year.Yours will have it stamped on top of the headstock.Your bass will have stock EMG pickups & preamp,with Bartolini being an option.MEC came along a little later & started with preamps,then pickups.
In 1988 they offered a few colours,but were mainly natural.

Actually, I found out it is an 88.
The year was stamped under the serial number right were you said.

The bridge saddles on my Warwick Corvette Fretless are impossible to lower. Is there some trick to the bridge that I have yet to discover that will allow me to lower my action? It's almost as low as I would like it, but it's quite frustrating to not be able to have it set up perfectly.

Any help?

EDIT: I read the manual :rollno: and figured it out.

There is a set screw on the front side (toward the neck) of the bridge piece that holds the saddle.
Did you loosen that set screw?

Hey all, I am soo happy to have another Warwick in my stable. This is a '91 Streamer Stage 1 and it is on its' way to me!! I cannot wait to get this thing out and gigging. There is something about the older ones that I absolutely love.

Just thought I would share with you all.

No, not a custom shop at all.
It's an 88.
Not sure when they stopped with the wenge neck-thru on them.


A broad neck Streamer 5, wenge neck thru with PJ pick-ups.....Now THAT would be SWEEEEEEET!!!! (and expensive too!!!:D)

If anyone happened to have a Thumb NT 5 or 6 fretless (wenge neck thru) I think they may be able to get my Streamer.
Maybe. ;)

That was pretty cheap too wasn't it???
I think I saw it someplace. Can't remember where.
