Hi all - new LX with custom tobacco burst gloss finish over flame maple. Ovankol neck. MEC pickups and pre. Put this with my Fender US Deluxe J 5 and my GAS is gone! Awesome bass!

Ok. So I have my 'Vette std. Love it. My usual bass out live. I have been looking at Thumbs on-line, but have not been able to actually play one. So a few questions for those who have...
1. Seems like they are typically priced higher than 'Vettes. Can somebody tell me why that is?
2. How is the weight? My 'Vette is all of 9lbs - which is awesome when I play all night - was curious how the two compare.
