he seems to think that the body is ash or maple but i thought i was bubinga, can somone help me out here?

It's hard to tell with that high polish finish.Take a look under the tail piece,the bit the ball end of the strings is anchorde into.What colour is the wood?If it dark red,you have a bubinga body,if it's a light colour,you have ash.
Your truss rod cover says Corvette Proline,which means it should be maple.But your pickups are passive & Prolines are fully active.
Either a previous owner has changed to passive pickups,or the truss rod cover has been changed to a Proline.
