I'm lucky enough to have a '98 NT4 that snuck in right before the necks got bigger. But a nice streamer has always been my grail bass.
I'm leaning towards the newer one. It's just more of a question of how likely am I to get hosed by a twisted neck that you can't see in pics? This '88 looks neglected. The anniversary bass has wear, but clearly cared for.
I also like cherry more than maple. But old has more "mojo"! Damn. Tough.
If I do jump for the older one, and this is a question I've had about Warwick's forever (I'm on my 3rd now) is if you have finish problems, you think you can just sand and re-wax/oil? Is it that easy? As I get older, I've learned to do things "right" it usually never as easy as you'd think!
