www.rocketmusic.net or PM TBer RocketMusic. Actually you might want to PM him if you want hardware.

Greg at Rocket Music can get the parts shipped from Dana B. Goods to your door if you live in the US.

You can also try Thomann in Europe. I've had Warwick parts shipped from them to my door in the US in under 2 weeks. Heres the link to their Warwick parts page:

With the high price of a Warwick why do they supply a bag and not a hard shell case? I emailed the company but have not heard any thing yet. What's up with that?

Well, I know what you mean about not getting a RockCase, but honestly, the price of a Warwick is not so high for the quality you get compared to other high-end basses. And I find the RockBag preferrable to a large, bulky case. The RockBag is so well padded and I can carry my bass by the back strap over my shoulder, leaving my hand free to carry my Genz-Benz Shuttle combo with my hand and still leave the other hand free! I make sure all my Warwicks have RockBags - then if I ever plan to take my bass on a plane, I'll order a RockCase FlightCase or two.

+1

See my Infinity in action here.

I liked the RockBag I got with the Warwick so much that I ordered one for my other bass. It's a bit of a tighter fit but having a bag means the bass is less prone to being bumped into things since it's not in a bulky heavy flight case. So ... I like having the option.

Any body know what kind of crazy vintage or CS Warwick that Hans Peter has as his go to bass? I dunno if i could decide on just one. lol

Believe it or not, Hans Peter doesn't even play bass! But when it came time for the Warwick forum member poster, Hans held a new 2008 Nobby Meidel Signature model. BTW, As proof I'm not Hans, I'm just below Hans, wearing my gray Warwick shirt, in the center (and no, I don't work for Warwick, though I would endorse the product in a heartbeat!) and Lex is at the bottom left:

As for Hans Peter Wilfer not being a bass player himself, here's what Gregory said:

"Mr Wilfer doesn´t play but he knows very well how to build and setup instruments thanks to his experience in the facility of his father (Framus), and he´s a strong businessman... And look at a certain Leo F. He didn´t play also..." -Gregory Pasquet, Custom Shop Manager, Warwick Headquarters
[email protected]

And an interview in Mixdown Magazine with Hans Peter has the man answering the same himself (and in that article, Hans was holding a Buzzard bass):

Are you a bass player yourself?
No I am not a bass player.

very cool!!!

i gotta make sure and get in on the next poster he does.

I should have better pictures of my Warwick posted up tomorrow. This grain is unreal, one must see it in person. When the light is on at night is when it pops up. Some of it looks like it's burled and, then some of it is straight grained, and a mix of both. I really hope the camera got it.

P.S. I want to be in that picture, how would I be able to get in there?

Are you refering to the Warwick Forum Poster? That was a project started by a member based off the old "Guilty By Association" Warwick poster. At the time, different forum members could send their picture to a member who was good with Photoshop and they could be added in to the mock poster. Then Hans Peter got involved and decided it should be made into an actual official Warwick poster to promote the forum. So a deadline was set and when it was all said and done, 45 members had participted. The final draft was sent to Warwick and they touched it up and printed it as A2 size posters. As a gift to all the participants, Hans sent each 3 actual A2 size posters! Very cool! - What other company goes to such limits for their loyal customers? I ended up giving one of my posters to The Bass Place in Tempe, AZ (a Warwick dealer) to hang on their wall and promote the forum.

Hopefully, there will be another poster in the future to showcase all the new members who've joined since. :) I gotta say, it's a rush seeing myself on an official promotion from my favorite bass company!
