:D:D:D With my new digi cam I got for christmas :)

i'll swap your bass for my soul?

please?

Sign me up.. But I've pretty much grown to hate my 87' Thumb (NT)

The reasons why I want to get rid of it:

I cant play it while standing, because of neck-diving.
I cant play it while sitting, because this part is too short:

I'm not really getting the sound out of it that I'm looking for,
but its not really that bad. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 soundwise.

The reasons that make me want to keep it:

While its hard to play in any position, its still the most comfortable bass I've ever played (neck-wise)
I may grow to like it afterwards and I'm pretty sure I wont find a model this old again

I sold my Thumb BO4 for the same reasons...

I loved the neck & tone. Now I'm gassing for a Fortress or Waewick with less neckdive. NOT a Corvette though, I think they're lacking in the looks dept.

I have 2 LX5s, one fretted, one fretless. The fretless is a brown so dark that I thought it was black for several years! The fretted one (not pictured) is flame maple with an amber finish. I've been thinking of getting an MM Streamer or Fortress or an FNA.

I'd be happy to take it off your hands...:hyper: . Seriously. The old Thumbs are incredible.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure I'll never touch a Warwick again, once/if I'll get rid of this. My father has a FNA Jazzman, the neck isnt as easy as in my Thumb, but it can actually be played in different positions. Soundwise my Thumb is better. But seriously.. I think of it every day, what kind of apes had Warwick hired back in the days. I wonder did they even test out the design, before publishing it?

O.K.! enough..

If you are really interested in it, we could discuss about it.
I live in Finland, so a safe deal for both of us is possible.

The bass is being mainentanced at the moment, I'll be getting
it back around next weeks thursday/friday. Until then, I'll
have to play guitar
