help! i just received my fortress, and need the straplock pieces that attach to the strap ends. these are the countersunk type ('97). anyone know a good source for something like this? i tried ones from my new thumb, but the newer have larger inserts, and won't fit...:help:

Umm.. since this is a Warwick Thread... I thought I'd ask..

Does anyone would have a Streamer Stage II 4 strings for sale ?

I've been saving up for a mac... but seeing the Stage II makes my heart break...

thanks...

(if this is not allowed since i'm not a supporting member then just erase it, sorry.)

I need to play too! My Streamer LX (bolt on).
M.Oreilly, Dunlop straplocks should be the ones that you need. The ones Peavey sells are Dunlops in every way except in a Peavey package, and usually a few bucks cheaper and better color selection.

Does anyone have a Corvette $$
I was wondering how they sound compared to 2 jazz pickups. Can you split the humbucker to make it sound like a jazz?
-thanks

Located in Sweden and the owned by myself. I bought it -87'ish. My pretty humble bass carreer seems over for the time beeing and if the right buyer, who really can appreciate a cool bass as this really is, turns up, I'm willing to sell it. Please visit my gallery I just made and give some comments here if you like.
The badge showing the serialnumber has been attached to the bass in factory as you all know. Please notice that the position is a bit off which I think was a bit cute when I got it and it has been that way all the time. No mishap from my side that is. It just gives the Nobby a bit of character don't you think. Shows it's a pure hand made piece. I still have the grey gig-bag it came in. I had a custom made flightcase made for it though. I simply made a paper template and sent over some additional measures and back it came after a couple of weeks. Fitted like a glove. I don't have any pictures of the case out there yet but I will take a few and make it happen so now I have to.
The strings has lost their fuzz for some reason. I think they are some kinda DR or DeanMarkley .40 gauge.

The bass is in excellent condition and has allways gotten the tender care it deserves. As a matter of fact it brings down cool comments from anybody who sees it. Male or fem of any age.
The only "flaw", if you want to call it that, is that the lid to the battery compatrment is a bit broken. It just doesn't "click in" as it should when closing it. Having eagle eyes you will propably notice that from the photos. It's original though. I guess a new 9V batterybox is easy to find in any well sorted store selling part for electronics.
I also got this question regarding the microphones on the bass. The question was if they are original on the bass. YES, they are. I remember that EMG [PJ set up] was one of the options when orderd, which I fell for. EMG for me was edge technology at the time and it felt like the choise for me. Perhaps someone at Warwick can verify me on this matter? That EMG in fact was an option to Nobbys.
