Can you say GAS!!!!!!!!! :bassist:

THanks! The dirty blonde is brighter sounding with less growl than the standard Thumb, but with it's pickup configuration it's capable of a huge range of tones. It's probably the most versatile of my Warwicks.

man, this is an awesome collection!

i'm curious, how's the growl on the dirty blonde, like compared to a regular bolt on thumb or a corvette?

thumbin,
we need more info about your bass * pant *
is it clearcoated or oiled and polished so well ? a broadneck, right ? where´s the great nut from ?

does it sound as good as it looks ?

cheers,
lowstar

I put about 10 coats of tung oil on it, Polishing between each coat with 0000 steel wool, Followed by 3 or 4 days of using ALOT of linseed oil then I finished it up with a few coats of feed-n-wax - Very glossy

Yep it's a broadneck... VERY wide and flat :P

I had my father in law make the nut out of aircraft grade brass/alloy - It gives it the tone of a fretted note, It's also modeled after the jan2 as you can see with a few minor changes.

It sounds awesome :P Very "mudvayneish" I usually have the mids and highs boosted a little with the bass set flat, And it gives me a VERY midrange growl... Sounds awesome for slapbass... With the highs boosted a bit more I can get a very les claypoolish tone, Similar to on the song power mad. I play it through my Ampeg BA115-T... Extremly happy with my bass :D I dont think I'll ever need another one again!

Cheers guys !

Here is my Corvette $$ (soon for sale I believe...)
