The Pedulla Club!

When (and in which setups) did the Pedulla Bartolini electronics become proprietary? I have a MVP6 JJ from 1992, and its output is very low compared to my other basses. Thinking of replacing the pre, but I'd like to keep the pickups if I can (it's probably hard to find radiused 6 string replacements that fit).

That’s interesting. My PJ Pentabuzz has very high output. It s louder than my Carvin SB5000 which is 18v.

Rapture owners: Looking for help finding the right bridge height adjustment screws for a 2003 Rapture I just bought. Some of the screws were rusted in place and the previously owner must have stripped them because neither a .050 (too small) or 1/6 (too large) will work. I've cleaned the barrels and screws and the screws turn by hand but not with the .050 allen, which I think is the right one.

Any idea where I might find the right allen screws. Tried Christine at Pedulla but they may not be answering these types of inquiries. I'll by the who new barrels if needed but hope just to find the right screws. I can shoot a few pics if needed.

If you know who manufactured those bridge, I could contact them.

THanks

I finally worked up the courage to put some nickel roundwounds on my Pentabuzz today. I think rounds really brought its tone to life.

Hi Dr. C,
Michael's choice for all his fretless basses was nickel rounds. If you're a DR fan, or want to test a set, you can go to fretnation.com - formerly bassstringsonline - and use code DRNL (valid thru the end of August) for a discount on DR Nickel Lowriders.
Best wishes!
