The Pedulla Club!

I've been playing Pedulla since '89 when I scored one of the Series II bolt-ons. What an awesome bass. Later I purchased a Buzz 5 string but it was stolen. I still miss that beauty.

I still have my Black series II which was put through the ringer of hundreds of alt-rock gigs in the early nineties. A few years ago I found a white fretless Series II which is super sweet. Great playability and tone.

My main bass though is a beautiful MVP-4 I purchased in '05. Gorgeous tiger-like maple. Just beautiful sounding and playing bass and with sustain that just sings for as long as you would desire. Pix of that to come.

Please add me to the Pedulla Club.

Cheers to Mike and his incredible craftsmanship, care and love that he puts into his instruments. They have served us well.

Rob

Hey

Can I join the Pedulla club? I recently got my very own Pedulla RB-4 made in 1995. I'm so lucky to get one of these in Australia, I've only played a couple of "gigs" but all the other bass players have come and looked in awe at it. :)

Anyway here's a pic of my band on the front cover of our local newspaper. I'm on the left. I quite like this picture. :)

Sorry the pic's pretty small.

Cool pic! Serious display of attitude AND altitude!

I'm gassing for a series 2 so bad! even though i never had the chance to play one...

Today I've picked up my Pedulla Series II - 1992.
It's really a great bass. Just put a set of flats on it...sounds great. Love being a Pedulla owner. Now I just have to get a MVP :hyper:

And my number is?

The Series II was a great bass. It's really too bad it was discontinued and so quickly. Only four years of production and wow: I just realized I own 2 of the only 480 that were made. I imagine that there must be less than 100 fretless total.

I found my white fretless and the MVP on E-bay. They are both great instruments.
I paid $700 for the fretless I think and it's worth every penny plus some. Silky smooth low action and an awesome sound. I'm thinking about buying that one in Saskatoon! $500 for any Pedulla is more than worth it. Even if it has dings, etc.

Yeah, from my point of view, if it has dings, or other cosmetic issues and you want the bass to play, then they are not a problem... and for $500 i suppose if it doesn't have any mayor issue it's still a great investment, the pedulla craftmanship is worth it, even if it needs a good setup.
I'll get me one someday... oh, yes...
