The Pedulla Club!

They were Pedulla's budget bolt-on line from the '80's. I think they were made in Japan, but I'm not sure.

no, i'm quite sure they were made in the states, and pedulla states bolt ons are cheaper but just because they are cheaper to make, neck thtoughs take more time. I believe they started the series II on pedulla's 20th anniersary or something. I read in a bass player magazine in the 90's pedulla hired more employees and started a larger operation and a few years later he went back to smaller operations, but every bass was made in the states.

So.........what is a series II ?

Hi, I have a Series 2 from the early '90s. It's made in the USA, maple body with maple neck and birdseye fingerboard. With the bolt-on neck, traditional (Fender-style) bridge, and passive PJ pickups (volume, blend, tone), it's got a more "old school" sound than any other Pedulla I've played. Mine is strung with TI Jazz Flats. Let me know if you have any questions. :)

here is my new baby...its a 2003 Pedulla Rapture J-2000 5. Absolutely gorgeous AA maple body with Bird's eye maple board. This thing is classy! and it sounds great too i might add :) Its my first pedulla with the wider string spacing (which scared me a little), but so far it doesn't seem to bother me too much. anyway, here are the sexy photos!

My goodness--that's a lovely bass! The wide Rapture is my favorite 5-string neck profile ever--substantial but sleek.
