The poor mans modulus q5

    Looking for some more price effective alternatives to a q 5 or a q5 if anyone wants to sell me one at a discount haha

    Yes. You're wrong about Peavey basses. The Peavey GV is the poor man's Modulus. The graphite neck is the defining feature of the Q5.

    Many people, including me, would say you are wrong, especially when it comes to older, American Peaveys.

    Yea I didnt know really. Good deal tho seems like I can find a good q5 substitute for a good price

    Yes, exactly... Peavey GV. Discontinued, but they pop up from time to time.

    I played quantum's for a long time... every time I picked up a peavy especially a cirrus or GV, I was shocked by the similarities and the price!

    I'd say they would be a great option.

  18. It's too bad they never caught really caught on. I still have a cache of Cirrus and Millennium basses. Probably one of the best factory basses without going luthier made.

    A guy had 2 Peavey G Basses for sale on the classifieds. Don't know if he sold them.
