I have never kept a practice journal, not for guitar and not for bass.nobody else is journaling practice?

I have read countless of times people suggesting to keep a journal, but I don't have any use for it. I think a journal is useful only if you periodically go back and review what you wrote, drawing statistics or analysing your progression. It sounds very "scientific" but I don't see the real usefulness of that.
Playing is important too.i've been playing a bit but I wouldn't say i've been practicing. hope to make a chance tonite we'll see what I have in the tank.
