Oh yes, he is fine. We keep the nails very short on all our doxies. Long nails causes them to walk incorrectly which will break down their feet and make walking painful.

I just finished pulling a wart off my thumb and using a pencil sharpener blade to remove the rest. Lots of blood, 10/10 would do surgery on self with non-sterile blade again.
