I try to do that few penny thing too but more often than not I'm unprepared and walk away with a completely annoying .97c in my pocket that ends up in some pile

But if something is $1.05 I'll usually cough up $2 so I can keep the silver colored change (I'm a quarter hoarder... It's my savings account :rolleyes:.)

I do the same thing if something is $1.06 but I curse the pennies if I don't already have 1 on me :rage:
