Hehehehe, not quite, but they were Joe Boxer shorts. :D They had glow in the dark eyeballs on them, and I thought they were so goofy looking that I HAD to wear them live. It's especially funny when you take into account that the band played some serious Heavy Metal!

I have a 4003 5 string on ebay and a 2030 5 string and a 2020 5 string that I might sell.

I am thinking of going back to owning just one Rickenbacker.

I did that last year, in fact. Sold or traded away 3 of my 4 Rics, and left myself with only 1, a 2006 model 4003. But, a 5 string Ric, I've never had. So Jeff, you interested in a 5 string Tbird?

Okay here's mine, recently signed by the man himself. Note that this bass started life as an Electra Corsair, but has been refinished and rewired with all Rickenbacker hardware (vintage tone wiring):
