Either demand a refund or call your credit card company pronto.

Got my copy in the mail today from Amazon.com. Just flipped through it, but OMG...what an amazing resource! I know it was a labor of love, but, as an author, I realize how much work must have gone into it, and I really appreciate it. Thanks!
I have a copy coming directly from the publisher since I have a few basses in the "Customs" section 
I have helped out with fact checking and typos/corrections throughout the process, and know just how great this book is. Major kudos to my friend Paul for this becoming a reality. 
I am going to order that book on amazon tonight! Sounds awesome!
Also, I want to know if you guys have tried this product:

And for what it's worth for those following the Gutiar Center mishap, it turns out the Platinum Manager was in the dark with his internal ordering for stuff they don't normally keep in store and thought the pay-in-full thing was a Rickenbacker requirement instead of a requirement from his special ordering person. He apologized in oversimplifying things and admitted he didn't speak with anyone at Rickenbacker specifically about the matter. He's been a really good salesperson to me so far so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with this one. It was kind of ****** to pin an internal mix-up on Rickenbacker, but I guess mistakes happen. I'm getting the bass I want at a good price, so even though I had to get creative with my accounting for a month, I'll be happy eventually.

GC = buy accessories because you need a replacement YESTERDAY, maybe demo a pedal or get a keyboard or case or some such thing if the place isn't a huge train wreck.
Everywhere else = buy basses.
Everywhere else = buy basses.
As long as you get what you want and are happy in the end is all that matters.
That's the one. At one time, the manufacturer (tubeampology) had a few different models with the only difference being where to rest your thumb, one had a cove instead of a ridge, the other totally smooth I think?

I have seen a few go purple when left in the sun . I have not yet had that problem though and as far as I know there is no official coy "PBr"
What, there are words in this beautiful book??!! I'll have to go back and look again, IF I can get past all the eye candy.
