Well after a decade without a Ric, I am happily back in the fold. I traded for a mint 2011 4003 Jetglo here on TB and I am in love again. Can't wait to take it on a gig this weekend.
Determined to be a scam on another forum when investigated.Guys i have been looking for another ric and this 1968 4001 popped up , is it worth 1500$?
Model 4001, Serial Number HD 894, Mapleglo, checkered binding, toaster neck pickup intact, bridge pickup has horseshoe cover, but pickup is not original. Does not have original case.

just got a beautiful azureglo '77 rickenbacker 4001 imported to new zealand from the states. even came with a ric-o-sound box! so happy with it - needs a bit of a setup after the shipping process, but it is easily the best bass i have ever played.
