The schecter stilleto studio 6

dude don't worry about the physical attributes of this instrument.. it is absolutely phenomenal..

i had one but i just couldn't get over the sound.. it was quite thin and fabricated sounding to me.. It was either spend hundreds upgrading it or taking it back to the store, and i made the hard decision to take it back.

I have the fretless 4 string stiletto and I completely agree with tranceFusion. While the bass looks nice, balances well, is very light and easy to play, the sound is lacking. Thin and fabricated is a good way to put it. It sounds even worse with flats! I am in serious need of new pickups or a pre-amp but... eh, I'm lazy.

I don't like the bridge to much either...

As is, it's a decent starter sixer. As said above, the HZ's are very thin-sounding. Nearing piezo sound, in fact.

I put in EMG 45DCs, sounds much better now. It's no professional instrument, but it does the job.

I'm thinking about getting it defretted and having an Audere 3ZB put in after I get an EBMM Bongo 6 around June.
