New bass player here. I just got the Ibanez Sr400eqm. Does anyone know why its Soundgear by Ibanez on the headstock? I mean you can barely see Ibanez its so small.

I don't know but it's the same on all the models, even the Prestige

As others have said, it's the same on all the Soundgear basses at every price point. The "SR" in the model number means it's part of the Soundgear line. Similarly, the "ᗺTB" logo on the BTBs is far larger than the "Ibanez."

It really is. Like some sort of aqua or turqoise on a quilted maple, it's pretty gorgeous

I have 2 basses an SR755 and a Fender Jazz V Deluxe. Thinking about losing money by trading the Fender in on a new SR605.

I sold my SR405eqm back to GC on Friday. Just couldn't bond with the 5 string. Brought home a SR400eqm in Emerald Green. Gorgeous. Here's a stock pic from GC's web site. Mine looks just like this.

Apologies if this has been asked and I've failed to find the reply, but I have an SR300-series bass with a battery cover which should be held down by two screws. When I bought it there was (and still is) only one screw, and I'd like to replace the other. I've emailed the Ibanez UK distributors, and they didn't even bother to reply to my request to buy a spare.

What is the spec. for these screws?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Doesn't somebody here have the relevant screw and some measuring equipment to help? There are plenty of engineers (current and retired) elsewhere on TB who provide helpful answers to all sorts of questions, sensible or otherwise.

Post a pic of the screw & cover and we'll go from there. I already pulled an intonation screw from my 1405 monorail for a fellow Brit...why not just dismantle the balance of the durn thing?!?

Ibanez has made literally hundreds of different basses so just saying hey I need a screw really doesn't narrow it down. Also they don't have some unicorn magic screw sizes so there's easily hundreds if suitable replacements. Just trying to help…
