Dunno, but someone is probably gonna have to take over for me, they can have my number. The 1015 is gone and the prestiges are both up on the classifieds section along with the 800.

When I was in a studio the engineer set everything flat, even the amp, & I was surprised how good it sounded

So what is the main pull of SR basses for you guys?
And is anyone else annoyed there was never a (to my knowledge) SRT/SRX Prestige/Premium?
hieronymous said:Sorry to jump in - that's kind of what I did with my SR 506 - I don't like the sound of the preamp that much, so set it flat - on my Alembic F-2B used my usual settings, the bass & treble boosted to 4, mids cut to about 6 (2-10-2 is flat) - I've been meaning to post something to soundcloud...
can there be such thing as "too much sustain"?![]()
That's a beautiful bass Achille.
Yeah, I have a 2000 405, and battery is in the control cavity
And Achille, there is no one giving out numbers at this time, He left![]()
I was having a buzzing problem with my SR700.
I think I finally figured out what where my buzzing was coming from. There's a slight tilt of the neck. On some of the highest frets, if I press down on the fret, the string will hit the very last fret before it hits the fret I'm actually pressing down on.
I tweaked this by removing the neck and adding a cut up playing card. Anyone else notice similar problems? Is there a more recommended way to fix such a problem?
