This book was fantastic. It was three stories all based on the mirror universe episodes in the original series, Enterprise and DS9. It starts off with Empress Sato after the mirror darkly episodes in Enterprise, then goes to Spock and his takeover of the Terran empire after the original series episode mirror mirror, and then goes to a story about Luc Picard, a marauding archeologist working for Gul Madred (there are four lights!). Good story telling with not too much technobabble and it's quick reading. Damn fine book.
Also, Wesley Crusher, son of the late space pirate Black Jack Crusher (his ship, The Bonny Beverly was destroyed by a probe in orbit of Iconia) got badly beat up by a pair of drunk Klingons. Poor kid.
I think you both will be insufferably pleased with yourselves for at least a month.

I subbed to SR mainly for these. They have lots of other interesting content as well, but the Pitch Meetings are the best. Now, you'll have to get all the way off my back on this, O.K.?

And then later when random Bajoran dude stabs him knowing he's not Gul Darheel and Kira asks why, and he says being Cardassian is enough, and she's forced to admit it's not, that's what you call character growth. That's development. It's not Michael Burnham making a sad face and sad music telling the audience she's deep.
