I’ve been watching it too. One episode a night before bed. The “only” thing I don’t like about it is the extreme volume differences in it. Hard to watch when the better half is trying to go to sleep.
Otherwise, I like it a lot.
as I wrote this…maybe headphones…
I hadn't noticed a volume issue with the episodes. But then again, I've been playing loud rock music for many years...

Watched with son last night, What gets me is that there were moments in the plot that I felt as though I'd already seen it. Weird, unless they stole some of the plot lines from previous episodes. It was not flashbacks or anything like that but just part of the natural flow of the storyline.Apart from that, was still enjoyable. I'm currently re-watching Discovery.
I usually have TOS and TAS looping in the background when I'm working. I know them well enough I don't have to 'watch' can pick them up anywhere in any story and are always a good way to pass some time while focused on other matters.
Has/did anyone ever get into any of the role playing games? 1983-1989 saw the FASA game system. I was a big fan and for awhile it was second in sales only to AD&D. Since then, there have been several different systems from different companies over the years.

The Jack Photon House Rules are a revamp/collation of the FASA system focused on 1960's TOS/TAS era -as opposed to modernized Pike/Kirk era or the 1980's films or TNG, DS9, etc. If you like the different eras of star trek, the other game systems that are out there cover those far better. I guess part of the problem is the technology, bridge duties and uniforms are so different between eras that the rule systems break for the disparity. Then, every company likes to do things their way, so every game system developed is always different enough from each other to be incompatible.

Well my Dad would always walk in if Arena was on--during one of the fight scenes with the Gorn.
He didn't get why I love the show.
Although he did laugh quite loud when he walked in at the end of Amok Time
There's nothing wrong with a man earning a living, but this always seems odd to me. I love Voyager and his character and he's a tremendous actor that brought everything to that roll. I'm a big fan. But taking a decent sized little chunk of money so someone who feels the same way can be near you and get a picture of it. It's off-putting.
Actually, $40 for an autograph is pretty reasonable for cons. I've been to Comicons where they ask $80 to $150 and up for autographs. I don't have a problem with these type of things. These actors have to make a living. Of course, I don't wait in line and pay for autographs or selfies - they're just not worth it for me. Now someone like Chris Squire, when he was still alive, that is different 
My son paid for a meet and greet with Jonathon Frakes a few years back. I would not have paid for one, but I did appreciate it. We spent about 30 mins chatting about various things, We even managed to educate him on the ANZAC tradition.
Meet and greets have always been a let down for me.. everyone I have been to they hurry you in you shake a hand, get a quick picture and autograph... at least the 5 or so that I have been to have been that way.. I have only been to musical artists meet and greets
