I know, not for everyone's palate. I like it a lot and find it well-written and, well, -voiced.
e01 is of the tribute type, and IMO not excellent; e02 was standard LD fare. (Don't feel like spoilertagging so I'll keep it vague.) This said, I liked them just fine.
It seems the original 3 foot shooting model of the original USS Enterprise has been found. It's been lost for about 45 years.
Mostly used in the first season until the 11 foot shooting model was completed. Seen in the opening shots of every Star Trek episode and publicity stills with actors holding it. Also seen in the episode "Requiem for Methuselah".
The folk in the forum have been scrutinizing details and I'm convinced it's the real deal.

While I’m waiting for S3 of Strange New Worlds to drop I’ve decided to start Voyager from S1 E1 and work my way slowly through. Voyager is one series that sort of passed me by. I saw bits and pieces of it on its first run. I never hated it, but never really loved it either. I figure I’ll give it a chance to grow on me this time. I’m about 4 episodes in and liking it ok so far.
I’ve also rewatched S1 of Discovery. I decided to “just watch it as it is”. So, it’s been ok. I still don’t ‘get’ the new old Klingons, really not happy with the Voq/Tyler arc and just generally dislike other mirror universe episodes in general. Apart from that - all good.
I reckon they should just have called it “Star Trek: Burnham” though.

Very much enjoyed Voyager, especially watching it from the beginning. Had a lot of trouble getting through Discovery, especially the first season. I think that's my least favorite of the series. And they really need to leave the Klingons alone already. They've become unrecognizable.

I'm re-watching Voyager too. After the first 2 seasons it gets better and Seven of Nine is an asset. Neelix gets on my nerves, but it will get better

Yeah, Neelix is not popular in the mapleglo household either, but he gets less annoying as the series progresses.
I got paramount+ for a couple of months for six bucks. It's nice having Star Trek in the house again. I was watching "The Royale" the other day. Ridiculous, wonderful episode.
I’m up to S3 on Discovery. I must say that I’m enjoying it more this time around. I’m finding that there were situations and people that I didn’t really get first time around, that I’m getting this time.
I’ve slowed my Voyager journey to concentrate on completing Discovery. Then I’ll concentrate on Voyager.

Season 2 of SNW is not good.
First episode. Spock steals the Enterprise. Meaningless, no-stakes conflict on a planet. Why? Why make this episode with these things? Something we've seen before plus a nothing story.
Second episode. Number 1 with a name now fighting adversity and discrimination. Again, something lifted from several episodes of ST. The defense attorney character was intolerable.
Third episode. Another zero-stakes episode, with sitcom like music drops during a chess montage. Sloppy, unrealized, cheap time travel story with a baddie that's been stuck in the past for 30 years, exactly like on Voyager. New Kirk is not good. Very bad episode.
Fourth episode. Not awful. Completely predictable.
Fifth episode. A Vulcan gets human emotions? Surely we've never seen that before, oh, but we have.
I have a vague memory of the first season being decent. It was completely forgettable, but I remember it being okay. I have five episodes left. I hope it gets a little better.
