The Status Register - Official Status Graphite Club

New to me Status Stealth 5 string. The only option it doesn't have that I really wanted is the LEDs by Sims. When this tariff ******** is over I will probably ship it across the pond and get it done and have it shipped back.

Super nice modern sounding bass. Plus I got a killer deal on it. The red weave really pops in the right light.

Working on finishing up my 5A Koa on Alder Warmoth that will be wearing a Status Graphite P-bass neck. Old style with Status logo on front. Dimarzio Model J's and a John East J-tone pre-amp. Babicz top mount original.

I am also waiting on a 1pc Black Limba P bass body from Warmoth with Music Man sweet spot route. Will wear an Aluminati hollow core P bass neck. Nordstrand big split-man wired rear coil, series, parallel, front coil on a 4 way rotary. Push/ pull for passive. Still undecided on pre amp.

I keep going back and forth which body should get which neck though….

Will have pics once everything is all put together .

Hi!
Bought recently this Status, I believe it's from 2011.
Bought from the original owner with case and papers.
Haven't tried yet, only next week!
Very excited to get it
How is it??
I just got my '98 Status T-Bass back from the luthier. He made some improvements in the wiring/grounding, and set it up. It plays like a dream...I'm keen to play it thru my 1990s Trace BLX-150 rig!

Hi guys, I have a Status S2 I think from around 89'. The controls are Volume, Pan, Treble & Bass with a switch to set the preamp on/off.
I've had this for about 2 years now, originally purchased off Reverb from a seller in Spain. It's a great playing and sounding bass, probably the best Status I have owened. I have owned about 5-6 Status in the past and this one is a keeper!

This video is in 4k so you can really see the detail of the body with the glassy finish... yep still in good condition after all these years!

You are correct--the weight was not mentioned in the ad. After stage 4 colon and liver cancer (that I was told by multiple Oncologists was terminal and that I survived by the grace of God and an unbelievable miracle), the weight of a bass has been important to me and I try to stay in the mid-8 lb range or less.

When I noticed this listing a few days ago, I asked the owner about the weight of the bass and he was kind enough to send this reply--

"9 14 as per my bathroom scale"

That is about the same as my Stealth.

I don't need another bass.
