I wouldn't have either. I have the base's controls centered and just a slight bass boost on the amp. It may be the D800's headphone output. I'm looking forward to trying it live, probably next month.Interesting. I would not has guessed that.

All of the graphite necks I have had (status, steinberger, modulus, zon, Moses, etc) had a brightness to them. Yes, I could get great lows and mids too, but that brightness aspect was still there. I think it is more the fretboard than the neck itself. It's not a negative, it just is....Graphite necks are not inherently bright or trebly, imho, they are pretty balanced through the whole frequency range, YMMV, but ime they are clear and focused, but not sizzly high end only.
Interested, and sent you a PM earlier.Anyone need or want a Status lined Fretless Jazz neck with Hipshot USA tuners? It's in the classifieds. Thanks ! Brad in Austin TX

No 34" scale… I didn't want the shorty when I ordered, and Rob wouldn't do a 34" with the bendwell.Does it have a bendwell?

I just ordered a 2022 T-Bass from Bass Direct. Can anyone tell me anything about this run of basses? Can't find too much information online.
Mark King was using T-Basses around 2018. Definitely a bit beefier sounding than his Kingbasses. Thanks for the info all. Does anyone know how many basses were made in this second run? Intrigued to hear how Status Electronics sound in a PJ configuration.
I suspect that Rob's carbon fibre days are over. It can't be a coincidence that he's been building strictly wooden necks since getting past his health issues.Gosh, I really wish Status starts taking custom orders again. 6 string CF neck headless with LED is smth I really want to buy.
