Are you sure there's no set screw? If not, then they must be just pressed on. Can you gently pull up on it?
Streamline owners, are you still playing your Streamline?
I have one, but haven't played for a while due to the wide 18mm string spacing. I'm wondering if I should just put it up in the classifieds, but then would I regret it later?

crazy. i guess that explains why it went too low. i'll give it a try tonight!
Try a pair of teaspoons, one each side and lever the knob up slowly from both sides at once.
Good idea, if they're on to tight to pull up easily by hand… but make sure you put some type of padding underneath them first so you don't damage the finish/top.
And go gently, I've read threads where someone has actually pulled the shaft right out of the pot (I think it was on a Sire). The spoon method may reduce that risk if done gently.

once i gave myself permission to put some pressure on them in the upward direction, it scooched up the pot shaft nicely! no spoons were required, but it's a great idea. strange how such a minor little thing can be so unsettling when you don't know how to fix it. now i can enjoy this sucker with less cognitive dissonance (pun intended!).
And the tone and playability are even better! Love it!
If anyone has a status that they're considering letting go, I'd be interested in learning more. This S2 has made me a believer!
They are fantastic. I had an Empathy 4 string years ago and loved it. Still on the lookout for a Stealth 5 with LEDs

Curious about the LEDs too and also 4 string 34" tones since this one is 5 string 32".
What string spacings did they make? I know 16.5mm and 18mm were a thing. Someone listed a 4 string with 17.5mm -- might actually had been 18mm or does anyone know if Rob was making 17.5mm (or arbitrary) string spacings?

The LEDs are done by Sims.l, I believe.

Well I've not been lucky enough to have played one with a graphite neck and as I've only been playing for less than a year I'm probably not the best person to comment. I will say it plays beautifully, it hasn't suddenly made me sound like Mark King, more like Mark King falling down stairs whilst holding a Status, but it does have that unmistakable Status tone, it sounds amazing.

I have an S23 and an older S2 Classic. Sitting in the house playing through a D800 with headphones, the S23 sounds a little brighter to me than the S2 classic.
