The Strap Snob Discussion Thread.

I have taken possession of my Pinegrove Leather strap. It is beautiful and it easily looks and feels like the best strap I have ever owned.


Now I need to put some use on it. Will report back in about a decade.

Question for the Italia aficionados. I put in my order for two straps about a week ago. What is a normal lead time for an order?

I just bought 5 straps from Temu for less than $5 each. My cork sniffing strap daze are over

Before that I have Silver Eagle Pick Pocket leather strap that is 50+ years old that I still use.

I have a nice Anthology leather strap that is great quality, but I use a Kliq strap instead on bass. The leather strap doesn't stay where I put it, but the Kliq one (which is a padded neoprene strap) stays where I put it, and also adjusts easily, there's just the right amount of resistance. It's comfortable as well.

I too am a Kliq loyalist. I had leather straps that looked cool, but the Kliq Aircell Adjustable is comfortable & the bass never slips.

I played with a guitarist a few weeks ago who had a bright yellow strap that said "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS."

I don't want to shop for one again in a decade.
I want the quality. The real stuff.
Money is no object - what is the best strap out there?

Moody's soft leather and quality is tough to beat, period. I currently have 4 of them.

My favourites are from Harvest Leather, super high quality from Germany (as the name does not tell).
I don’t know how they manage to sell them for so cheap. They only sell directly from the website and are very affordable given the quality of the product.
