White Noise was fantastic, for sure! don't know if you're into the longer books, but pick up Underworld if you can. it took me a while to read it (there's a lot to take in), but i was utterly impressed by it. my favorite of his that i've read.

Kick ass knobs.... give me GAS....

Honestly, its a good thing this pedal doesn't include a Blend feature, otherwise I'd actually have to toss the idea of this pedal. But my Robot Factory White Russian can do pretty much everything in these clips, but I have an onboard blend feature, plus some other neat little options. The big difference: The White Russian is twice the price. Worth it? I think so. Do wish it had room for those knobs though...

Yea, that's the way my jazz is. It's just as hot, if not hotter, than my Stingray which I always thought was pretty high output.
Neither of them get along very well at all with my LBM :hmm: This is looking like a great alternative, sounds like it keeps lows? I heard quite a few usable sounds in that clip.

I saw the scotch one and thought "sweet," then saw the blasphemous one and thought "AWESOME." :D

I need to get one of these, provided they work with actives of course. I don't have enough bigass money right now though, so the waiting can wait. (?)

I've never before heard a clip that literally made me order a pedal before, but these clips did it. The only way I could see this pedal being "better" is with a clean blend, but I also am of the opinion that a clean blend is somehow cheating :smug: I've got the Supercollider AND the BYOC Pickle clone on the way... I think my Muff-fuzz-lust is finally quenched... If only I could get my own Creamy Dreamer, then I'd be truly finished: the Dreamer sounds great on bass, with no problems at all in my experience. Man, who makes a Dreamer clone?

Supercollider FTW!

jj, i recorded the clip going bass -> SUPERCOLLIDER -> computer. the "interface" i use right now is nothing more than a 1/4" - USB cable called "Lightsnake."

Zombi... i have a clean blend (Barge) that i don't really use right now. it's just not necessary. the SUPERCOLLIDER retains the low end and can do mids cut or boosted, so it really makes itself known in a mix. it's great to have the option of turning the fuzz up super loud to obliterate everyone around... but it's equally as great to have a fuzz pedal that'll marry itself well to a mix when used with a bass... y'know? the other pedal i'm using is the Barber LTD SR, which is a very transparent OD. keeps all my tone (lows and all), just makes it a little grittier and... boostier.

nad: it was going to be Macallan's in that pic... but i finished it all before the SUPERCOLLIDER could get its grubby knobs on it. :smug: Glenfiddich SR is pretty damn good on the rocks, though.

i just tried it with two actives (Electra w/ Bartolinis, MusicMan Sterling) and it works beautifully. i wish i had an 18V pre active bass to test it with, but i don't....
